Price Hill is a Texas Tech golfer known for electric scoring surges and a knack for closing tournaments strong. Following his father Christopher, who competed for Tech from 1992 to 1997, Hill arrived in Lubbock after winning the 97th Junior Texas Amateur and an individual UIL 4A Regional Championship at Boerne High School. He immediately proved his scoring ability as a freshman in 2023–24, logging three top-20 finishes and matching the program's second-lowest round of the year with a 7-under 65 in Hawaii. Hill matched that career-best 65 at the same event as a sophomore, helping him earn a spot in the lineup for the Big 12 Championships.
Hill elevated his game further as a junior in 2025–26, highlighted by a runner-up finish out of 120 competitors at The Prestige behind a blistering second-round 65. Remarkably, all four of his sub-70 rounds that year came in final rounds. A dedicated finance major, Hill is also a two-time conference academic honoree, earning Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team recognition in 2024 and Academic All-Big 12 honors in 2025.
